A suspicious death investigation has become a homicide investigation for Mesa County Sheriff's Department detectives.
Mesa County Sheriff's Department Spokeswoman Heather Benjamin says deputies have arrested Kenneth Earl Wright, 43, of Rifle. He was booked into the Mesa County Jail on one charge of first degree murder.
Benjamin says the Mesa County Coroner's Office has not yet released the identity of the victim who she says is an adult. The cause and manner of death have also not been released.
