An Orchard Mesa couple tells 11News they were robbed at gunpoint this afternoon at their home off David Street. The couple, who does not wish to be identified, says several men knocked on their door and when they answered it the men began demanding things and then forced their way inside the couple's apartment.

The woman says the men showed her a gun and said if the couple called police they would kill them.

The men stole a computer, flat screen TV, and cell phones. The couple says the men then took off in a pickup truck.

As officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were enroute to the robbery they spotted a truck matching the description given by the couple.

Police followed the truck down Rood Avenue. With guns drawn, officers detained four people on suspicion of armed robbery.

Officials say items taken from the apartment on David Street were found in the truck.
