Mesa State College students are moving in to the new North Avenue dorms, which school officials say are already full.
Officials with the college say this year, they’re seeing exponential growth.
Vice President for Student Affairs John Marshall says in years past, the school has seen a 2 to 3% enrollment increase, but this year, they’re expecting double-digit increases.
Marshall says the college may very well soon start discussing housing options again, given the size of growth.
Marshall says the college is prepared to put students up temporarily in local hotels, if need be, but expects even if that’s necessary, it will only be for a few days.
The new North Avenue dorms house 304 students.
