An overnight truck fire created a headache for emergency responders.

Reports came in overnight that a truck was completely engulfed in flames on top of a hill on 27 1/4 Road in the desert north of Grand Junction.

Grand Junction Police say a man was four-wheeling when his truck overheated and caught fire.

He was able to get out safely, but the truck went up in flames.

Officials say a firetruck would not have made it over the rough terrain so they brought in a brush firetruck.

Police say the driver will not be charged.
