Little information has been released about the suspect in a domestic dispute that ended with a lockdown on the Redlands last night.
The Grand Junction Police Department says the suspect is still in the hospital, no word on his condition.
Police say the man pointed a gun at his girlfriend then himself.
They say he then got into his car and flashed his gun at two people on South Broadway and got into a confrontation.
Investigators say he got back into his car, missed a turn to go onto the Redlands Parkway and flipped over a guardrail into a ravine near the Broadway and Redlands Parkway intersection.
Emergency officials had to cut him out of the vehicle so he could be transported to the hospital.
