You can help beat Alzheimer's disease with a few local fundraisers
The Dragon Treasure Chinese Restaurant in Fruita is hosting an Alzheimer's Association fundraiser Sunday, August 23. The fundraiser runs from 12 - 8 p.m. and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Memory Walk.
You can also participate in the walk. That happens Saturday, September 26 at Lincoln Park.
