After thousands of hours of work and sweat, a local family of six now has a place to call their own.
Habitat for Humanity handed the keys to a new home to the Claussen family today. The new home is located behind Eastgate shopping center. Families who work with Habitat for Humanity volunteer their time, labor and raise funds to help the non–profit build homes. Once they have reached the required amount of service they can buy a home of their own.
To date Habitat for Humanity has built more than 300,000 homes world wide.
