A local conservative group says after failed attempts to get members of Congress to host Town Halls in Grand Junction, it plans to hold one itself.

The Western Slope Conservative Alliance says it will hold a health care Town Hall Meeting next Thursday.

Today, members of the group are delivering letters to the Grand Junction offices of Senator Michael Bennet, Senator Mike Udall, and Congressman John Salazar telling them about the meeting and inviting them to attend.

Organizers have not yet released a time or place for the meeting.
