The Colorado Division of Wildlife says it found no tracks or signs of a mountain lion near a local bus stop.
At around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, a woman walking her dog reported seeing a mountain lion about 200 meters from the bus stop at 33 and C Roads.
A wildlife officer and deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office responded to the area to make sure kids were safe as they boarded the bus.
Officers walked the area with the woman who reported seeing the animal and found nothing in the area.
