Mesa County Health Officials say a child under the age of five has been hospitalized with Swine Flu.
This is the third confirmed hospitalized case for the county.
The hospitalization comes at the same time Mesa County has received additional Strategic National Stockpile assets. The supplies include masks, gloves, gowns and more for doctors who may need them to treat patients during the upcoming flu season.
Health officials remind everyone to follow these simple rules to avoid getting the seasonal and Swine Flu this year:
-Get your family vaccinated
-Practice good hand hygiene
-Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing
-Stay home if you're sick
11 News will have more on flu vaccination clinics around town and the Swine Flu latest tonight at 5:30 and 10 p.m.
