Colorado's Governor comes to Grand Junction for two events, Friday and Saturday.
The Democratic Governor will first visit the Grand Junction Regional Airport Friday afternoon to tour a project funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The airport received approximately $9.3 million from the Federal Aviation Administration for improvements to the apron.
So far, the project has spent more than $4 million dollars and created more than 100 jobs. Concrete Works of Colorado was awarded the contract.
Saturday, Governor Ritter will be the keynote speaker at Club 20's annual fall meeting at Two Rivers Convention Center.
