There are nearly 65,000 Coloradans living with Alzheimer's Disease.
That number is expected to more than double in the next 20 years and one group is asking for your help to combat the disease.
On September 26, the Alzheimer’s Association will hold its annual Memory Walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s research and services it provides locally.
The group says it’s their biggest fundraiser of the year, and sadly, with the tough economic times, sign-ups have been slow.
But organizers say they’re confident Grand Valley residents will come through.
The Memory Walk is Saturday, September 26 starting at 9 a.m. on Lincoln Park.
