A new runway, terminal improvements and food service.
That’s what the Grand Junction Regional Airport says it hopes to accomplish over the next decade.
During a board meeting Monday, the airport laid out details for their master plan.
Officials say the current runway is starting to show signs of wear and tear and constructing a new one is their top priority.
Plans are also in place to build a new tower, give parts of the terminal a face lift and add restaurants to both sides of the airport.
Most of those projects are slated to begin within the next three years
The new runway is expected to be in place by 2019.
