Wild mustangs that used to roam the Bookcliffs will be roaming an Open House this weekend.

A Mustang Open House will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 and features several horses adopted from the Bookcliffs. The Open House will be at the Sheriff's Posse Grounds on 25 and F 1/2 Roads in Grand Junction from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Open House includes demonstrations on how gentle these horses can be after training. It's an opportunity for horse lovers to enjoy looking at beautiful animals and learning more about the wild horse range in the Bookcliffs.
