Local group "How are the Children?" joined forces with recording artists to make a CD for newborns and their parents.

Dreamland, a collection of children's lullabies, is for new parents who need a tool to help soothe their little ones.

Music producer and songwriter Ken Dravis and vocalist Bonnie Wixom volunteered to put together the CD. A lot of the songs are original and written by the duo.

"We're asking for a ten dollar donation for the CD and all the proceeds will go back to to make more parent resource guides," says Donna Bennett, executive committee chair for "How are the children?".

The parent resource guides are for parents who need more tools to care for their children. The guide does involve a training seminar.

If you would like to help market the CD contact Donna Bennett at (502) 759-1647.
