Police: At least 3 GJ businesses hit by BB Gun

Police say at least three business on 4th Street between Grand Avenue and Main Street were shot at overnight by someone with a BB Gun.

The vandalizms happened sometime before 1 a.m. Officials say all of the attacks happened on 4th Street between Grand Avenue and Main Street.

They say the suspects shot two windows at the Grand Junction Free Press, one at the Home Loan building and three windows at the U.S. Post Office.

Grand Junction Police took the initial report at the post office, but since it is a Federal building and damaging it is a federal offense, it will be investigated by the Postal Service.
