There’s a road closure in Grand Junction that could affect your commute around town for the next two weeks.
Starting Monday and lasting through Oct. 12, part of Elm Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
Mesa State is building a new parking structure at the intersection of 12th & Elm and needs to close one block of Elm to allow for the trucks that will be bringing in pre-poured concrete slabs to build the lot.
The City says the construction should be scheduled around stop lights to help keep traffic interruptions in that area to a minimum.
