The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says they've foiled a potential threat against Palisade High School with the arrest of a student.
Investigators say 18-year-old Robert Dell Johnson of Grand Junction was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on one charge each of Criminal Solicitation and Interference with an Educational Institution.
Officials say Johnson's arrest affidavit is sealed because the case is an active investigation. He will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mesa County Justice Center.
11 News will be speaking with Sheriff Stan Hilkey and School District 51 Superintendent Steve Shultz this afternoon and will bring you more on this developing story as it becomes available.
