While many charities have run into the problem of having too many people to help and not enough money to do it, one local charity is having the exact opposite problem.

The Tammy D. Martin Trips, Dreams, and Memories Foundation sends families with a terminally ill parent on an all expense paid vacation -- in hopes of creating a lasting, happy memory for their children.

The organization launched in the Spring of 2009 and has already raised enough money to send its first family on vacation. But so far, no families have applied.

"We know there are families out there who are going through this and if we can be that one bright spot in this terrible illness that they're dealing with, we wanna be that," says Teresa Black, who started the organization after her sister Tammy passed away before getting that last happy memory with her children.

Members of the public can nominate a family online who the group will then contact directly.
