Local teacher wins national Office Max award

Friends, family and colleagues joined Office Max in surprising Kim Castleton with a whole lot of office supplies.

Castleton received ‘A Day Made Better’ award from Office Max.

The store awards $1,000 to more than 1,000 teachers across the nation to help them buy supplies.

For Store Manager Mark Biesecker this is his first year having the privilege of giving the award.

Castleton was very moved by the award and her loved ones who surprised her with the nomination.

She received an assortment of office supplies, tissues, a comfortable chair, printer and other goodies.

    Would have been nice to know which "local" school the winner teaches at.
