The fundraiser aimed at reminding people that there are many in our community that go hungry everyday.
"Today people in our community are getting to experience what it's like when you have to come to a soup kitchen to get your meal everyday," says Sister Karen Bland.
Folks paid $25 for a ceramic bowl by local artists, their choice of soup and an assortment of deserts.
Organizers are hoping to raise $30,000 to help the nearly 300 people they serve everyday.
