Mesa County Search and Rescue volunteers were called out to help a dog who accidentally jumped off a cliff on the Grand Mesa Saturday.
At around 3:30 p.m. rescue crews responded to a 911 call that a dog fell more than 70 feet down a cliff. Crews arrived on scene and immediately repelled down to get the pup.
Officials tell 11News the dog's name is DO-V and is training to work with people recovering in hospitals.
Miraculously, DO-V was not injured in the fall and is home with his owners.
