GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - With colder weather just around the corner a community homeless shelter is asking you to help them stock up for the winter.
Homeward Bound of the Grand Valley and Walmart are teaming up to help restock the shelter’s food supply before the winter months.
The shelter says they need everything from breakfast food to toiletries.
Officials say having these basic amenities can make a world of difference.
Homeward Bound will be collecting outside the North Avenue Walmart from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Collections start Wednesday and continue through Friday.
