GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A trial date has been set for a woman accused in a local pimping and prostitution operation, but attorneys on both sides say they don't believe that trial will ever take place.
Suk Young Yu pleaded not guilty in court Thursday afternoon. She stands accused of working with Nan O'Reilly at the Fuji Massage Parlor on Horizon Drive. The business was busted and shut down last November after police say they learned workers were performing sexual favors for money.
The District Attorney's Office and Yu's attorney both told the judge they believe she will be a witness in the case against O'Reilly.
Should Yu's trial move forward, it is slated to start in April.
