GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Grand Valley Transit says more people than ever are getting on board.
The county’s bus service says it’s seeing a record increase in the number of riders.
Officials say their busses carried 15 percent more people in September of this year versus the same month last year, totaling more than 75,000 passenger trips last month alone.
GVT officials say the economy, new bus routes and a new transfer facility have all contributed to the increase.
