GJPD still searching for bank armed robbery suspect

ORCHARD MESA, Colo. (KKCO) - Grand Junction Police are still searching for an armed robber.

Wednesday evening police were called to the First National Bank of the Rockies near the City Market on Orchard Mesa.

According to police, a man entered the bank, showed a handgun and demanded money from the teller.

He made it out of the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old white male. He’s tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
