DEBEQUE CANYON, Colo. (KKCO) - Colorado State Patrol says a rockslide at mile marker 51 has been cleaned up and all lanes of I-70 are now open.

The rockslide happened near the tunnel around 9:35 a.m. Monday. The rockslide initially closed both westbound lanes and one eastbound lane.

Traffic was stopped for a time Monday morning as CDOT crews worked to remove large boulders from the road. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

11 News will have more details and information on why rockslides are more common this time of year tonight at 5:30 and 10 p.m.
