Accident Alert canceled in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Accident Alert in Grand Junction that was in effect overnight has been called off.

According to Grand Junction Police, continued snowfall prompted the accident alert. An Accident Alert means if you are in an accident that does not involve injury or alcohol, exchange driver's licenses, insurance, and registration information with the other driver. Do not call 911.

Within 24 hours you should head over to the Grand Junction Police Department or the Mesa Mall sub-station during business hours to file a report.
