GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Home prices across the country rose for the seventh straight month in September.

Nationally prices were up one percent from July to August. Sandy Barger, CEO of Keller Williams in Grand Junction, says Grand Junction is right in line with the national trends. "I just pulled our numbers and we're down 11 percent from this time last year, which is right where the national numbers are going," says Barger.

Barger says Grand Junction is doing great under the conditions of the economy and she is very optimistic about next spring.

Barger predicts Grand Junction will have a faster recovery compared to more metropolitan cities as long as foreclosure numbers don't rise before the end of the year.
