GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The case against a Whitewater woman accused of murdering her husband is moving forward.
Nearly 70 potential jurors spent Friday morning filling out a six page questionnaire.
That will help the courts decide who will serve on the jury for the six-week trial for Miriam Helmick, who is being charged in the shooting death of her husband.
They were told that they are not allowed to discuss the case with each other or anyone else, and they were instructed to ignore all media reports about the case until they are formally dismissed.
The trial is scheduled to start Nov. 9 and last until the middle of December.
