GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, and probably the earliest.
With stores advertising great deals, its no wonder people want to be first in line.
There were some pretty serious shoppers camping out Thursday night, and the most determined to get the bargains were waiting on deals at Best Buy.
They arrived around 4:30 or 5 p.m. more than 12 hours before the store even opens.
Otis Flournoy was proud to be the first chair in line, "I'm going to get everything I want," he says.
Flournoy wasn't the only devoted shopper. Mark Shelton arrived at Best Buy shortly after 5 p.m. because last year he wasn't as lucky with his spot in line. "I was actually here at Best Buy last year at 2 a.m, around corner and halfway down building."
Best Buy opens 5 a.m. Friday.
