GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The City expects to take in about $50,000 more next year from ambulance transportation revenue, this after a fee increase was approved by City Council Monday night.
The percentage of increase will vary depending on different fee structures for ambulance use, but the net increase for 2010 will be 2.5 percent over 2009. The fee increase does not affect Medicare, Medicaid or contractual revenues.
The City anticipates it will bring in $53,000 more next year as a result of this increase.
