GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A man is arrested for trying to rob a local liquor store, but fails to succeed when the clerk refused to give him money and told him to leave.
Grand Junction Police arrested 20–year-old Axl Boynton for trying to rob the Crown Liquor store on North Avenue.
Police reports say Boynton came in wearing a mask and demanded money from the clerk and when the clerk refused and told him to leave, he did but was quickly located by police.
He was booked into the Mesa County Jail.
