GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (KKCO) - Interstate 70 has been re-opened after a rock slide in the Glenwood Canyon.
The slide happened just after 3:30 a.m. Friday in the westbound lanes near the Hanging Lake exit.
A commercial vehicle traveling on the interstate was hit by some rocks, but the driver was not hurt. The vehicle was quickly cleared from the roadway but crews spent a couple hours clearing rocks from the roadway.
The interstate was re-opened just after 7 a.m. and officials say traffic is flowing normally now.
