H1N1 vaccine appointments already booked for this Wednesday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - If you were hoping to get your H1N1 vaccine Wednesday, it's too late to make an appointment for a free one from the Mesa County Health Department.

Mesa County Health officials started taking appointments Monday at 8:30 a.m. for the 500 vaccines that were available. All appointments were booked in less than an hour.

The Health Department had opened avaialble to anyone over the age of six months after annoucing they felt they'd done a good job reaching those in high priority groups. No word yet on when the next round of vaccines will be available.
