GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office wants to protect you from becoming a victim of identity theft.
Officials will be offering free shredding service for anyone on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
A shredding truck will be in the front parking lot of the Sheriff’s Office located at 215 Rice Street.
Things you should think about shredding are old tax documents, check stubs, paycheck documents, credit-debit card receipts and bank statements just to name a few.
The Sheriff’s Office will also be accepting canned food donations for people in need and toys for the Toys for Tots program.
