School will be in session unless the roads do not clear by tomorrow? Will we have a midnight sun come out and melt it away? It will just be worse because there will be a whole lot more ice.

I read a news story last night about how the city was prepared for the storm and ready to keep the roads clear. I'm curious as to what exactly that meant. Where were the snowplows this morning? I was driving around town all morning to help family and friends shovel snow. I saw no plowed roads from 7 a.m. to about noon driving throughout all parts of the city. The few snowplows I did see weren't doing anything. If road conditions today were when the city was prepared, I would hate to see what would happen if another storm like this comes and they aren't prepared.
