MESA COUNTY, Colo (KKCO) - The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says there were 5 victims in the overnight shooting in Fruitvale and so far none have been released from the hospital.

Officials say one suspect has been arrested in connection to the shooting that sent multiple victims to the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.

Around 2:15 a.m. Sunday deputies were called out to Krista Court on reports that shots had been fired. They say the case is in the very early stages of investigation and are not releasing any additional information at this time, including the names of the suspect and victims.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the shooting to call the Mesa County Sheriff's Office Investigations Unit at (970) 244-3255.
