GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Miriam Helmick is no longer at the Mesa County Jail.

Helmick has been transferred to serve her life sentence without parole in the Department of Corrections.

Helmick was found guilty of first degree murder earlier this month.

She shot her husband Alan Helmick in the head in their Whitewater home in June of 2008 then tried to make his murder look like a home invasion.

Yes, there was video of her buying the card 4 days prior to her getting it with her alibi friend. Not only was I sure that she killed him, I am pretty sure she also murdered her first husband, who was left handed, and supposedly shot himself with his right hand thru a pillow. So since she got away with that murder, it was easy for her to kill her second husband in order to keep him from finding out that she was forging his signature on checks. She was so greedy. She should have just stayed married to him. Also, I am certain she tried to blow up the car with that trick she learned from "No Country for Old Men" prior to the "robbery". She deserves to be in prison.

My cousin is in prison with Miriam. Miriam told her that she murdered her husband and she jokes about it occasionally. So if anyone is wondering if she did it or not, there is your answer.
