Cole pleads guilty to accessory after the fact in Mesa County court

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The co-conspirator in a Clifton murder case has pleaded guilty to charges of accessory after the fact.

Joshua Cole could spend six months to six years in prison for his role in a shooting that occurred in July.

Michael James Simpson stands accused of first degree murder in the death of Marcos Ramon Acosta-Estrella.

He faces additional charges in connection to the shooting of three other victims. He will be sentenced in February.

Simpson will appear in court again on Jan. 26.
