Grand Junction Urgent Care facility closed

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A Western Slope doctor’s office is now shut down following a federal investigation.

The Urgent Care Center run by Drs. Sam Jahani and Eric Peper on 1st and Grand is no longer open.

According to the staff it is closed up because of the lack of a provider and listed several options for a patient to get help if they need it.

The Urgent Care facility has been under much scrutiny. In October officials from the Drug Enforcement Administration raided the facility, confiscating files from the two doctors under investigation.

11 News revisited the Urgent Care facility Monday night and found water pouring from the ceiling.
