One Book, One Mesa County Program makes 2010 selection announcement

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - It’s official. The library has made its choice for the One Book One Mesa County program.

This year’s selection, The Georgraphy of Bliss, is a book by Eric Weiner about one grump’s search for the happiest places in the world.

The library hopes many people in the Grand Valley will read it over the next month so the entire community can discuss its meaning.

Angie Allen of the Mesa County Public Library says, “A program that has people read together has people grow together and strengthens their community. So the number one criteria we had in our book is something people can discuss and this book is definitely that.”

The author will be here Feb. 27 for a presentation and question session.

You can pick up The Geography of Bliss at most book stores or check it out at the library.
