GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The chairman of the Colorado Republican Party says the GOP has a great opportunity in 2010.

Dick Wadhams spent time in Grand Junction Thursday morning speaking to the Western Slope Conservative Alliance.

He says the people of Colorado are rejecting the failed policies of President Obama and Governor Ritter and they want change.

While speaking to the crowd, Wadhams called US Senator Michael Bennet unqualified, and said even though Ritter is now out of the race for governor, the Democrat’s new candidate will still lose in November.

The Republican Caucuses will take place on March 16. The last day to register with a party, so you can participate in those caucuses is Jan. 19.
