GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A business is looking to hire more than 1300–hundred people in the Grand Valley, anyone can apply and the money is pretty good.
It's the US Census Bureau and they are currently hiring for people to go out and hand out surveys.
From enumerators, the people who have to hand deliver the questions, to supervisors.
"We're trying to hire folks who can read a map," says Bill Hugenberg from the local Census Bureau, "..and who can work efficiently with mimimum supervision."
The pay starts at $12.50 an hour, but, to get the job, you will need to take a short test, which is critical, "the better you do on the test, the better," Hugenberg added.
They are also hiring full–time and part–time positions and the training the bureau will give you is paid as well.
