Gas leak closes 18 Road near FMHS Monday morning

FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO) - Some construction work caused a gas line to rupture Monday morning, right next to Fruita Monument High School.

It happened near the intersection of 18 Road and Highway 6 & 60.

Fruita Police and the Lower Valley Fire Department shut down part of 18 Road while the burst pipe was fixed.

All roads have been reopened.
