GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - On Main Street, from 1st Street all the way to 4th Street, construction crews have hit the pavement.

They're working at milling the asphalt, the first big step to completing Phase One of the Main Street Uplift project.

Downtown Partnership officials say it will take most of the week and that means the Main Street entrances to 1st through 4th Streets will be blocked off, but remind everyone that businesses in those areas are still open.
