Locals remember civil rights leader

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Martin Luther King Jr. day ended with a special celebration in the Grand Valley Monday night.

Dreams, freedom and togetherness were all part of Martin Luther King Day. People gathered in the Robinson Theater at Mesa State College to celebrate the civil rights leader through music, drama and speeches. The main theme, being a helping hand for the community.
