Free electronic book checkouts at the library
Tired of spending money on books you only read once? Well the Bookmobile is at the Mesa County Central Library on Grand Avenue, on Friday and Saturday, showing people how they can download books for free.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Tired of spending money on books you only read once? Well the Bookmobile is at the Mesa County Central Library on Grand Avenue, on Friday and Saturday, showing people how they can download books for free.

It's not a new concept. A digital service that allows you to download a book to an IPO of E-Book Reader. But still many people don't know the serivce is free through the Mesa County Library.

"People can download audio books and put it on an MP3 player and go camping and it's all free to them," says Shana Wade, spokesperson for Mesa County Library.

The digital Bookmobile will be at the Mesa County Central Library on Grand Avenue Saturday from 10 am to 4 p, teaching library patrons how they can download books and much more to their digital devices.
