GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Another round of pink slips went out to Star Tek employees at the North Avenue location Wednesday, but it wasn’t unexpected.

Twenty nine employees received notice they’ll be laid off in 90 days as round two of the rolling layoffs at the North Avenue location continue.

Star Tek officials say the notices were part of the more than 150 jobs cut over the next six to eight months after the needs of a key client changed.

The layoffs come less than a week after Star Tek officials announced they were adding 90 positions at the 7th Street office.
