GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Police say 87-year old Kermit Turley has been located.

He was found driving his vehicle west of Fruita.

Authorities want to thank everyone who helped by spreading the word that he was missing.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Police Department is asking for your help in locating a missing 87-year old.

Authorities say Kermit Turley was last seen at his residence at 585 25 1/2 Road #13.

Turley was reported missing on March 16th when his caregiver arrived to his home to find him and his car gone. Turley suffers from dementia.

He is possibly driving an off-white Volkswagen beetle, license plate 698WOC. Authorities say he has made recent remarks about traveling off to Arizona.

Anyone with information is asked to call authorities immediately.
